Volunteers are at the heart of Fishers of Men – We simply would not exist without wonderful people who give of their time to serve. All aspects of this ministry require the support of many volunteers, so, if there’s something that you would like to get involved with – Let us know by filling in our Digital Volunteer Information Form and responding to an email after you submit. Alternatively, If you’re part of a group of volunteers (eg. a church, school, workplace, or community group) and would like to serve together, we’d love to hear from you too! Fill out our Group Volunteering Form to tell us a bit about your team and how you’d like to get involved. If you are part of a group volunteering together at FOM, please have your team code ready from your group organiser to enter into our Volunteer Information Form.
Fishers Of Men is also accredited to help eligible people experiencing financial hardship reduce their SPER or Revenue NSW fines through approved work and development activities. Simply fill in our Volunteer information form and respond to an email after you submit.
Keeping Children Safe
Our Child Safety Reporting Pathway explains how to raise concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person, or about the conduct or behaviour of a Fishers of Men worker or volunteer towards children.
Reporting a Child Safety Concern to FOM
If you have a concern about the behaviour or conduct of a Fishers of Men worker or volunteer towards a child or young person, please report it to Fishers of Men as soon as possible and, where relevant, also use the appropriate external reporting pathway outlined in our External Child Safety Reporting information.

Important: You do not need to investigate the concern yourself or be certain that something has happened before reporting it. Share what you have seen, heard or been told, and FOM will ensure the concern is handled through the appropriate child safety process.
