Fishers of men have a variety of ways to fund the ministry
“God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others”
(2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT)
At Fishers of Men, we believe Jesus when he said, “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones” (Luke 16:10 NLT). So we trust that as we are faithful with what he has provided us with, He will bring provision to us for greater responsibilities.
God has provided for our ministry through the generosity of many volunteers, donors, businesses, and churches giving time, experience, venues, clothing, food, furniture, and finance. There are always areas of opportunity for you to partner with us as we serve the homeless.
There is a variety of ways that you are able to help us raise funds to support the ministry of Fishers of Men.
There are many ways for you to help
Charity Carwash
Every Saturday from 9am – 4pm, Fishers of Men run a charity carwash at New Heart Baptist Church to help fund the ministry. Your support as a volunteer or a client would be greatly appreciated.
Commercial Food Truck
Occasionally, we use our food truck to sell food at our Charity Car Wash to raise funds for the ministry. With enough volunteers, we would like to have it operating most weeks. If you are interested in volunteering, let us know!
Garage Sales
Once or twice a year Fishers of Men holds a mammoth garage sale with donated items. The Garage sales are run by volunteers who help sort, set up and sell all kind of household items. If you are interested in helping make these events happen, let us know! You could also help by coming along and buying some things!!
